Tawney Wood Lodge has abundant wildlife in the garden & beyond, including lots of garden and woodland birds at our purpose built feeding station, which attract the lighting fast Sparrow Hawk. We also have Tawny owls, tame pheasants, Muntjac deer and the occasional escaped sheep seeking a tasty meal in the garden. We are a pet free property to minimise disruption to their lives and ensure that the natural environment remains undisturbed, allowing both guests and wildlife to mutually enjoy this peaceful setting to its fullest.

'Rachel has created something truly magical with Tawney Wood Lodge. It's one of those rare finds that exceeds all expectations. A perfectly peaceful paradise with impeccable attention to design and detail surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and beautiful birdsong. Rachel is the perfect host. Friendly and responsive. She also let me check in two hours early which was a lovely gesture. It's really hard to put into words just how special this place really is, so I suggest you just book it and find out for yourself.
